I’ve heard about this protocol a while ago but then it sounded so stupid to me, I just couldn’t get the idea of not being able to see anything but text in my browser, especially giving the fact that I used it 60% to watch YouTube videos. However I never stopped thinking about it, until it hit me and I realized how bad we need that shit today. Imagine watching all the video content you will ever dream of privately in your favorite media player (mpv ofc), and scrolling throw memes in your favorite image viewer and downloading the ones you like with one press. Imagine a life where your browser can’t display ads, no not because you’re using an ad-blocker that eats 98% of your rams no, it’s because it can’t display adds (unless someone finds purpose of plain text ads), it’s so damn powerful man I just can’t stop thinking about how awesome is this, I mean can you imagine how glorious the Gemini version of gitlab would be? just think about it.

I thought about trying to build a Capsule there but I don’t really know how to host it and I’m not sure if I can use the same domain name I’m using right now, just how cool is gemini://seth-ossidian.github.io dude this would be awesome, I really need to get a closer look at this man I just can’t help it.
